THERE HAS BEEN AN ONSLAUGHT AGAINST SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY OVER THE LAST FEW DECADES AND NOW WE HAVE PRODUCED A GENERATION THAT RECOGNIZES NO SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY.
They are easy to identify:
- They have no Pastor or Spiritual Authority
- They do whatever they desire without honor
- They pop from church to church
- They cannot and will not receive correction
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS?
“I ONLY YIELD TO GOD!”
“NOBODY IS GOING TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!”
“I SUBMIT TO GOD, NOT TO A MAN!”
Why make such and issue – it is just the way things are and our generation……
Why can this be identified as a demonic attack to disembowel the Believers from doing God’s will?
AUTHORITY IS THE KEY TO RELEASING THE POWER OF GOD!
Confidence is not authority because confidence can come from man and his perceived abilities.
AUTHORITY CAN ONLY BE GRANTED – BESTOWED – ENTRUSTED.
The key is that you can only be trusted with authority if you are submitted to the authority.
WHERE THERE IS NO GENUINE SUBMISSION THERE CAN BE NO DELEGATED AUTHORITY.
So keeping the body of Christ out of submission equals that lack of authority which releases the power of heaven to earth.
On earth Jesus has set up His authority in His Church
- Jesus is the head of the church (Divine Authority granted Matt. 28:18). Eph. 1:22
- Jesus set up gifts (His delegated Divine Authority). Eph. 4:11
- When a person is unwilling to submit to the authority that was delegated to them by the Head of the Church, then how can they receive authority to act on behalf of heaven. Heb. 13:17
