When a leader is unwilling to CHANGE then they produce people that will NOT CHANGE.
The challenge is not just changing, but changing at the correct timing.
When we change things too early we create havoc and premature action that can hobble the horse.
When we change things too late we are always reacting and never moving forward in vision.
WHY DO LEADERS AND PEOPLE HATE CHANGE SO MUCH?
- It is fearful to move from stability to the unknown.
- People hate losing control.
- People are afraid of how they will be affected.
- Leaders are concerned about failure.
LEADERS THAT CREATE CHANGE ARE CHALLENGING THEIR STAFF!
HOW DO I BRING CHANGE?
- Be strategic!
- Ask certain questions like, “Does this change keep to the vision?”
- Is the change able to be conveyed clearly?
- Do we have the resources to complete the change?
- Is the staff able to fulfill the needed process for the change?
- IS IT THE CORRECT TIMING FOR THE CHANGE?
Change is a God thing.
God does not change in His nature and character – Mal. 3:6, I am the LORD, and I do not change.
BUT
HOW JESUS HAS WORKED WITH MANKIND HAS CHANGED WITH PERFECT TIMING.
Create a culture of change to infiltrate your ministry or business. When you and your staff feed on it, moving forward in the vision is much easier.
